AC Shadows Introduces Unexpected AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre partnership that challenges traditional forecasts, the game developer has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Revealed
According to the official release, "A strange meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous changes reverberate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine group.
The mission concentrates on "strange experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Features
Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an special katana alongside several objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:
