The House investigative committee has released a collection of approximately 70 photos secured from the holdings of late found guilty individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third disclosure from a tranche of over 95,000 photographs the committee has acquired from Epstein's holdings. It features pictures of quotes from the book Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and obscured images of women's international passports.

This disclosure arrives just hours before the 19th of December cut-off for the DOJ to disclose all files associated with its probe into Epstein.

"These photos raise further queries about what exactly the Department of Justice has in its custody," remarked the ranking member of the panel, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Disclosed

Some of the images made public on recently feature Epstein speaking with academic and activist Noam Chomsky on a private plane; Bill Gates seen next to a woman whose identity is redacted; Steve Bannon seated at a table opposite Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the most recent affluent, prominent men to be seen in Epstein's estate images published by the oversight panel - formerly published images also show US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, ex- US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.

Appearing in the images is is not considered proof of any illegal activity, and a number of the pictured men have asserted they were never participating in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a statement accompanying the photograph disclosure, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not supply explanatory details or timeframes for the pictures.

"Images were picked to offer the public with clarity into a typical cross-section of the images acquired from the property, and to give insights into Epstein's network and his exceptionally troubling behavior," the statement reads.

The release also includes a number of images of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita written in black ink across various areas of a female's body, such as her upper body, lower extremity, pelvis, and spine. Lolita narrates the account of a minor who was groomed by a older literature professor.

One passage from the novel written across a female's chest states, "Lolita: the end of the tongue traveling of three steps down the palate to land, at three, on the teeth".

Additionally, there are a collection of photos of female travel documents and official papers from nations worldwide, like Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the papers, such as names and DOBs, is obscured but the House Oversight Committee indicated in a statement that the passports belong to "individuals whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were involved with".

Another photograph shows Epstein seated at a desk closely surrounded by three women whose identities have been censored - one individual has her hand on Epstein's torso under his garment, and a second is leaning to look at a nearby laptop. Epstein appears to be aiding the third individual put on a wristband.

Another photo released is a image of digital messages from an unknown person who claims they have been sent "a number of girls" and are asking for "$one thousand dollars for each individual".

Photograph Release Comes Prior to DOJ Cut-off

The panel has thousands of images in its custody from the Epstein holdings, which are "both disturbing and ordinary," its statement on this week clarified.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the holdings of Epstein, who died in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while facing trial on charges of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The images and documents the Epstein estate submitted to the panel are different than what is often termed "the Epstein files". That material are records within the Department of Justice's custody connected to its separate investigation into Epstein.

Under the recently passed law, which President Trump signed into law in November, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to release its files. The full nature of what is contained in the DOJ's files is unclear, and it's likely that a large amount of the content will be significantly obscured, akin to House Oversight Committee materials
